Besal is a little town situated in Kaghan Valley, Mansehra District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region of Pakistan. It sits 3260 meters above ocean level. It is nearby the Kunhar River, around 45 kilometers north of Naran. It is the beginning stage for climbing trails like Dudipatsar Trail.
