Wide Peak is a Himalayan mountain on the outskirt of Pakistan and China, the twelfth most noteworthy mountain on the planet at 8,047 meters above ocean level. It was first rose in June 1957 by Fritz Wintersteller, Marcus Schmuck, Kurt Diemberger, and Hermann Buhl of an Austrian undertaking.
