Lok Virsa Museum

Heritage Museum , additionally known as Lok Virsa Museum is a museum administered and controlled via Lok Virsa – National Institute of Folk & Traditional Heritage. It is a museum of records and tradition in Islamabad, Pakistan, placed on the Shakarparian Hills showcasing the residing cultures of Pakistan. The museum opened in 1974 and have become an self sustaining institute in 2002 following the Lok Virsa Legal Status Ordinance, 2002. The museum consists of numerous homes in addition to an out of doors museum which could accommodate up to 3000 traffic.
